The book presents photographs that document the everyday life – special customs, moments, etc. – of various Hasidic sects in Bnei Brak and Jerusalem. The non-Haredi, non-Hasidic photographer was able to provide a glimpse into the Hassidic world and culture, despite the reluctancy of such communities to provide access to photographers, tourists, and TV crews, thus revealing images, with each telling a unique story.
